Udo Boelts

Udo Bölts is one of the most successful German road cyclists and was born in the Palatinate. After his active career in 2003, he was the sporting director of the Gerolsteiner team until the beginning of May 2007.
Today he takes care of the hiking trails and mountain bike routes in the Palatinate Forest and rides with his colleague

Torture yourself, you pig!

"Torture yourself, you pig!" is the most well-known saying in the cycling scene in Germany. When his team captain Jan Ullrich was struggling as overall leader on the 18th stage of the Tour de France in the Vosges in 1997, Udo Bölts encouraged him with this saying.

The website "Torture yourself, you pig!" was created in honor of Udo Bölts and his saying. The saying was protected as a trademark by Udo Bölts and is used exclusively for a wide variety of products with his consent. Our goal is to offer unique cycling clothing at good quality and at a reasonable price. The proceeds will be used to support the cycling scene in the Palatinate Forest and to promote the brand and the region around the world.
